Developers of Blight: Survival have shared a new work-in-progress demo for the game.
Haenir Studio, an independent game development team, has recently unveiled a new gameplay demo for Blight: Survival, an upcoming co-operative action horror game powered by Unreal Engine 5 and set in an alternate 14th century, demonstrating a cool new animation made for the game.
This time, the team has introduced a cool new feature called the "automated helmet-collision-avoidance system." This system adds to the game's realism by automatically adjusting the player character's posture when the in-game head detects nearby geometry. Additionally, the demo provided a sneak peek into the early stages of development for the game's music, composed by the talented Jose Pavll, known for his work on Project Wingman.

Earlier, the team also shared a closer look at Blight: Survival's characters and the lockpicking system:
And prior to that, Haenir unveiled a neat weapon collision system, which makes the player stagger upon hitting a sturdy stationary object with a melee weapon.
Earlier, Haenir Studio's Mads Christensen also joined 80 Level to tell us more about the development process and idea behind Blight: Survival, explain why Unreal Engine 5 was chosen for the game, and discuss the upcoming game's gameplay and co-op mechanics.
