This WIP Fantasy Indie Game Is Made with Real-Life Clay & Foam Models

Take a look at Räfven, a WIP indie project set in an atmospheric world, 3D models for which are created from real-life hand-crafted props.

In the video above, the developer shared a glimpse into the meticulous handcrafted process behind the physical models, which are made from clay, foam, or natural materials. The developer shares that she genuinely enjoys the process of crafting the 3D models by hand, as it brings a sense of authenticity and personal touch to the project. "Process is the journey," as she puts it.

Räfven is an atmospheric exploration game featuring dreamy stop motion-inspired visuals, where you explore forgotten ruins and eerie forests, trying to unravel their mysteries. On your way, you need to solve environmental puzzles that can help you in this task and unlock new paths.

The world is inhabited by peculiar creatures, and you have to stay unnoticed, using clever tactics and slipping past them, avoiding their gaze. Some of the inhabitants are spirits, and you need to awaken them and uncover the mysterious forces that bind the world together.
