Check out Backrooms: The Project, a creepy, immersive first-person horror adventure from Night Drive Interactive. The developer recently shared a glimpse of the gameplay, revealing an abandoned old-school office that gives off strong Severance vibes.

Backrooms: The Project is an upcoming indie horror game inspired by the eerie, unsettling aesthetics of liminal spaces, inviting players to explore multiple levels of endless corridors, deserted hallways, and fluorescent-lit pools, bringing the chilling infamous creepypasta to the screens.

As you wander through the maze, you'll discover and use items to help your escape, but you should stay alert, as you're not alone in this unsettling place. The game ensures immersion with realistic handheld-style camera movement reminiscent of found footage, along with a shadow-casting character model, soft dynamic lighting, and post-processing effects, such as depth of field and exposure control, strengthening the eerie atmosphere.
