Shark Rain promises lots of fun.
If you love water simulations as much as we do, you might want to check out Shark Rain, an upcoming "shark-based shooter" where you can turn into the animal and back to get through obstacles and solve puzzles.
The developers, Lin and Kat Volts, promise a story-driven experience set in "a vast ocean covered with many different islands that used to be a modern day civilisation before it was catastrophically flooded many years ago."
You'll get to be a shark girl named Hailina using a water bazooka to flood the world. There are colorful NPCs to talk to, foods to discover, and "the specter of a past evil that is trying to claw its way back into power" to defeat.
Shark Rain uses Fluid Flux, a 2D water simulation system for Unreal Engine 5 developed by Krystian Komisarek, which allows for realistic water behavior that will help you navigate around the world and get to closed-off spaces.
