Daniel Martínez Lara shared his experiments with Clay Pencil.
With this fan animation based on Olov Burman's Golden Goose short film, Daniel Martínez Lara demonstrated the capabilities of Blender 4.3's updated Grease Pencil with Geometry Nodes support.
Clay Pencil is essentially a Geometry Node setup on top of a Grease Pencil animation, enabling the conversion of 2D into 3D in real-time. Once this technique is polished, the artist plans to release a tutorial demonstrating how to use it, along with a file containing the Geometry Nodes setup and a basic animation.
