In this tutorial, you will learn how a professional environment artist works when creating interior environments for games:
- Techniques like high poly modeling, using UE5 Nanite
- Texturing
- Level Art
- Lighting and Post Effects (using the new Lumen System)
- Creation and uploading process of advertisement
This course has over 18 hours of content. You will start by going over the reference, then create a block out, and turn this block out into high poly models. In the next step, your tutor will guide you through the process of creating simple but flexible procedural materials and unique textures. You will find out how UV-Unwrap all the models and export them to UE5.
You will then move on to creating advertisements and stickers in Photoshop and apply them to the level. The final steps include lighting and post-effect pass on the scene.
All the modeling will be produced in Maya. The materials will be created in Substance Designer and previewed in Marmoset Toolbag 4. During your practice, you will also start using the new Nanite and Lumen systems.
