Tutorial: Procedural Rock/Mountain Shader in Blender

Check out this incredible shader that adapts to new shapes in no time.

Artist Corza has recently shared a look at an awesome procedural rock shared made in Blender. The showcase video shows how you can tweak the input model and the shader adapts to it, changing the texture and creating an organic-looking surface.

The artist was kind enough to share a 10-minute video breakdown explaining how you can recreate this shader to use in your projects. You could create huge mountains or something else using this goodie. Corza explained why it works best with Cycles, showed the needed nodes, and discussed how you can modify the setup for different needs.

You can find the original showcase video here and the breakdown there. Also, don't forget to join our new Reddit pageour new Telegram channel, follow us on Instagram and Twitter, where we are sharing breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
