Tutorial: Turning a Noise Texture into a Liquid Shader

Check out this cool short tutorial on creating a liquid shader in any game engine.

Back in 2020, a Game Developer from New Zealand Sam Debenham, a.k.a. Sam_Makes_Games, had shared an interesting and unorthodox way of creating a liquid shader from a Noise texture using any game engine or 3D software you desire. In the short video posted on Twitter, Sam explained the entire process and showed what needs to be done in order to create a customizable liquid shader. Recently, Sam has been developing a game with infinite procedurally-generated terrain. You can check out some behind-the-scenes footage below. As the author comments, the process is "getting there, slowly but surely."
