Eugene1sv is creating a tutorial series on how to set up a fully-featured fighting game.
Unreal Engine Developer known as Eugene1sv is working on a series of detailed YouTube tutorials on how to make a fighting game from scratch. In the latest video, he covers adding hit attacks and combos to player characters.
For this lesson, you can either use any animations of your choice or six attack animation assets from Eugene1sv's paid TRUE Fighting Game Engine plug-in in a sample project you can get by requesting in the comment section.
This sample project also implements all the functionality covered in the previous tutorials: Character Blueprint, grappling attacks, camera movements, control with 2 gamepads, and more. In the next videos, Eugene1sv will be explaining how to add hitboxes and begin working with hit attacks, hit reactions, special abilities, and character selection.
