Twilight Tails is an Upcoming Indie Survival & Exploration Game Featuring Adorable Raccoons

Raccoons are overly cute creatures — they are chubby and fluffy, with adorable faces and talking eyes that could melt one’s heart when being looked at. Unity Developer and 19-year-old solo developer Pavlo Prokopchuk has decided to feature raccoons in his upcoming survival and exploration game, Twilight Tails. 

You step into the shoes of a cute raccoon who lives in a photorealistic, gorgeous, yet challenging wild forest where predators like bears reside. Collect resources as you wander across the various biomes, examining each bush, tree, or underground realm where secrets and challenges await. Other than searching for food, you’ll also need to gather materials to build shelters and set up traps to outsmart predators. Remember, try all means to keep and expand your territory.

You may act alone or team up with other players to form alliances for survival and share responsibilities. Similar to real nature, the game delivers changing weather and seasons as well as a switch of days and nights, which create various challenges to deal with. 

I’m immediately captivated by the GIF on the Steam page, showing the raccoon sneezing with sunlight outlining its figure. These small details make the protagonist come to life.
