The price of Collector's Edition dropped with the removal of the early access privilege and season pass.

Ubisoft has made some changes to the Assassin's Creed Shadows Collector's Edition, canceling the three-day early access privilege and removing the Season Pass; therefore, the cost will be lowered by $50, dropping to $230 from $280.
This is according to Ubisoft community manager Ubi-RealDude, who announced in an update post on the game's Discord Channel. In addition to what was mentioned above, "some design elements may change," too. The Collector's Edition will now include a dual character statue of Naoe and Yasuke, a SteelBook case, a World Map, a Collector's art book, and more.

'The Assassin's Creed Shadows CE will drop on the same day as the game's official release date. A month ago, Ubisoft decided to postpone the game's launch from Nov 12 for early access and 15 for all players to February 14, 2025, because the studio needed more time to iron out the experience and refine some of Shadows' key features. The game will, exceptionally, be released on Steam, too, other than the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store.
