The book will reveal concept art of characters and ships and high-definition breakdowns of the world of Skull and Bones.
The fans of pirate stories can rejoice twice: while Ubisoft's highly anticipated pirate adventure Skull and Bones will be released on November 8, its art book is expected on January 31.
Published by Dark Horse Books, The Art of Skull and Bones is a full-color hardcover collection of art and commentary from the development of the game. Apart from concept art of characters and ships and high-definition breakdowns of the game's world, the book shares "intimate creator notes describing the creation of this cutting-edge buccaneering experience."
"The team did a phenomenal job at creating the world of Skull and Bones – filled with diverse regions, ships and characters," said art director Kobe Sek. "We are proud to be able to showcase a glimpse of never-before-seen concept art of our game. We hope you’ll enjoy discovering the unique setting inspired by the Indian Ocean and immersing yourself in the pirate fantasy of Skull and Bones!"
The Art of Skull and Bones will cost $49.99 and will be available in bookstores on January 31, 2023, and on February 1 in comic shops.
