October 13 marks the 15th anniversary of the critically acclaimed action-adventure Uncharted 2: Among Thieves' launch. The studio that developed the game, Naughty Dog, posted a tweet to celebrate the date, and some developers and industry figures also shared their thoughts, recalling the beloved game's release.
The Studio Head Neil Druckmann posted a picture from the game's development times and said the game was a life-changing project:

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves was released for PlayStation 3, and the company also paid homage to the title, accompanying the celebration words with footage from the Uncharted level of its recently released platformer Astro Bot:
The latest video game in the series is Uncharted 4 was released in 2016. In January 2023, Neil Druckmann said that the studio "moved on" from the Uncharted franchise. Fans speculated that a new PlayStation 5 advertisement might hint at a new installment, but there was no official news.
