Unity Posts Best Quarter in Company History as Revenue Hits $546M
"Up 24% year-over-year."

Unity just had, in the words of President and CEO Matt Bromberg, "arguably the best quarter in Unity's history as a public company."
In Unity's most recent earnings report, it was announced that revenue hit $546 million for Q2 2026, up from $441 million a year earlier, while GAAP net loss narrowed to $23 million from $90 million. Shares jumped as much as 17% following the report, with analysts at Bank of America and Deutsche Bank both raising their price targets on the stock.
Bromberg credited the growth to Vector AI: Grow Solutions revenue reached $389 million, up from $287 million in Q2 2025, while Create Solutions grew from $154 million to $158 million.
"The ongoing success of Unity Vector AI, combined with the most exciting product roadmap in Unity’s history, is helping drive substantial value for creators, players, and shareholders."
Vector AI allows developers and advertisers to target and optimize campaigns to get new players/users, so it's not a game development tool, meaning the quarter's growth is coming primarily from Unity's advertising business rather than the engine itself.
In July 2026, Unity 7 was announced, and it was said to include smarter growth and monetization tools, including Unity Vector and in-app purchases. It's set to enter early beta testing in December 2026, with the full release planned for Q1 2027.
In an interview with CNBC, Bromberg said that even with the impact Vector AI already has, the company still thinks there's a lot it can do, and that if it can predict which games a player will like, that's a win for both the advertiser and Unity.
