Game Developer StudioRoss, known to many for creating marvelous interactive grass shaders, continues working on their upcoming adventure game and demonstrating the production process behind it.
Recently, the creator shared a new demo showcasing a neat setup that automatically scales down the grass when it is close to the camera, allowing the player to see the protagonist even when he is standing in the tall grass. According to the developer, the system was set up in Unity using vertex shaders.
