Powered by Geometry Nodes, the tool is set to launch later this week.
Technical Artist and Co-Founder of IRID Studio, known only as Paulo, has shared a brief demo showcasing an exciting new procedural generator for Blender that will be available later this week via Blender Market and Gumroad.
Developed with "particle distribution and wind animation" in mind, the generator comprises a tree library with four tree species and a custom-made add-on and is capable of generating realistic-looking wind-blown 3D trees. According to Pablo, the generator was set up using Geometry Nodes, Blender's renowned for modifying the geometry of an object with node-based operations.
"We put a lot of care on the particle distribution and wind animation," commented the creator. "Now we will focus on growing the library and improving on other areas like trunk detailment. [The generator] will come out later this week on Blender Market and Gumroad."
The generator's release will be announced via the author's Twitter page, so we highly encourage you to pay Pablo a visit so as not to miss the launch.
