USS Enterprise from Star Trek Beautifully Recreated in Minecraft & Blender
This detailed ship took Coobanoh a long time to build.
Take a look at this detailed USS Enterprise ship from Star Trek: The Motion Picture, built by an artist known as Coobanoh on Reddit in, as you've probably guessed from the voxels, Minecraft.
It took the creator about 5 months to get the structure where it is now: it was disassembled in-game and then reassembled in Blender into the model in the video.

"I had to dissect this by hand to get it in a way I, and my PC, could handle it in Blender, eventually group all the objects that I'd ripped apart. Every ceiling, wall, floor, system, conduit separated, labeled and placed in collections. There's a few systems that themselves are dissected as well."

This is a part of Coobanoh's video project, and when it's done, the Blender file will be available for download. For now, you can enjoy it in Minecraft with the TrekCraft modpack.
The artist is actively learning Blender at the moment to deliver a 5-minute-long animation. "Animating it in Blender is the only way to communicate the true scale of the build, and that's probably gonna be another 6 months of learning key frames and material lighting," they said.
