But the good news is that they're back in stock now, so that's nice. And if you order a refurbished LCD model, that price didn't change.

Here are the new updated prices:

• Steam Deck OLED 512GB: Now $789 USD (Previously $549); CAD 1,129; EUR 779; GBP 649; AUD 1,199; PLN 3,279

• Steam Deck OLED 1TB: Now $949 USD (Previously $649); CAD 1,349; EUR 919; GBP 779; AUD 1,429; PLN 3,879

Valve’s update is notable because it frames Steam Deck availability as a supply-chain issue rather than a demand issue. The company says Steam Deck is “back in stock” with updated pricing, following months of reports that OLED availability had become inconsistent due to memory and storage shortages.

That context matters because the Steam Deck has effectively moved out of its original budget-handheld phase. With the LCD model discontinued and the OLED now serving as the primary version of the device, Valve appears to be managing the Deck less like a one-off experiment and more like a long-term hardware platform.

This also calls into question what the price of the Steam Machine is going to be, which Valve claims is still coming this year. Not to mention Steam Deck 2.
