While news about Valve's hero-based third-person shooter Deadlock came and went, providing us with numerous details and gameplay footage but no official acknowledgment from Valve, it seems that the legendary developer is working on not just one but two brand-new titles, according to a recent tweet by Gabe Follower, a YouTuber and industry insider who first revealed the aforementioned Deadlock to the wider gaming community.
As per the insider's recent tweet, Valve has been working on a brand-new fighting game over the past few years, which might still be in development, as Gabe Follower is unsure if it has been canceled or not. Beyond this, details are sparse, with the insider admitting they can't provide further information at this time, leaving us to wonder about the project's current status, what fighting game sub-type it is, and whether it might be a Multiversus-style game featuring characters from different Valve titles.

Filed at the Competition Appeal Tribunal in London, the lawsuit argues that Valve is "shutting out" competition in the PC gaming market. It also contends that Valve mandates game publishers to comply with price parity conditions, which prohibit selling titles at lower prices on competitor platforms. Learn more here.
