The gritty, intense world of The Last of Us Season 2 called for next-level VFX, and Wētā FX delivered. Achieving this required an extensive array of VFX tools, from previs to final frame. Wētā's work included weather control, large-scale crowd simulations, intricate effects, and detailed creature animations, including a massive horde of a thousand infected attacking the town of Jackson.
