VTuber CodeMiko Gets Finger Tracking and New Hair Physics

Youna Kang has demonstrated a new and improved version of CodeMiko, a digital avatar and a popular VTuber and Twitch streamer controlled by Youna via the Xsens mocap suit. According to a short demo released earlier this week, the new version of the avatar comes with movable fingers that are controlled via motion-capture gloves and boasts improved hair, which looks more responsive and realistic thanks to the upgraded physics.

In case you missed it, back in late March, CodeMiko also got a completely new avatar that was created in Unreal Engine 5 using the MikoVerse technology and had higher-quality skin and animation than the previous version.
