Watch Carnage's Hand Turning into Badass Axe in This Smooth Transition

Tre Vital and boring animations can't exist in the same sentence, and this rig of Marvel's Carnage is proof.

The character artist, who has worked at Blizzard and is now with Skybound Entertainment, created a smooth transition from the villain's hand to a double-sided axe growing right from the arm using Maya.

The axe fits the pattern perfectly and is actually a separate mesh that looks as if it's part of the character. Vital's rig will have a blade and an axe for each hand and two sets of tendrils and will be available on Gumroad and Patreon soon.
