Relic Castle toyed with Nintendo for 10 years.

By now, we should all know that Nintendo is really sensitive regarding its property. Relic Castle, a website dedicated to Pokémon fan games, has been shut down following a DMCA takedown notice after 10 years of service.
"Relic Castle has always been a non-profit, ad-free, tight-knit community and we pride ourselves in what we have achieved," the site now reads. "Members have felt at home, made friends, and even careers with us. It is with deep regret that I have to inform you that the forum part of this community, which was to turn 10 years old this year, has had to come to an end. With over 20,000 members and 65,000 posts, Relic Castle was a home to many of us."
If you want to stay in the loop, visit its Discord server and check out the content with the Wayback Machine.
The most surprising part of the announcement is the fact Nintendo hasn't closed Relic Castle before. It is notorious for sending its legal team as soon as something that has an even slight relation to its IPs appears. Well, aside from Palworld, but we all know it's definitely not connected to Pokémon.
The latest lawsuit Nintendo filed was against the Yuzu emulator creator, which resulted in its closure and a hefty $2.4 million fine.
Earlier, former Pokémon general counsel Don McGowan said that the fastest way for a fan project to be shut down is through press coverage. So I'd better stop here.
