Whitespike Queen: A WiP 3D Creature Animation by Syed Jafri

Here's a collection of behind-the-scenes shots shared by the author in the recent months.

Today, let's have a look at Whitespike Queen, a work-in-progress 3D creature project based on The Tomorrow War's White Spikes, being created by Syed Hassam Hussain Jafri, a Texture Artist at Digital Domain Vancouver whom you might remember for breaking down the anatomically-correct Ellie model back in 2021, using ZBrush and CAVE Academy's look dev kit.

Over the past few months, the creator shared dozens of posts, showcasing the entire production process behind the creature, from the earliest iterations to the incredible animation achieved with Mrinal Soni's rig, attached above.
