LogInA tinker has managed to run the yet-to-be-released Windows 11 on a 6-years old smartphone.
The whole world is waiting for the new version of the world-renowned OS – Windows 11, which will be released later this year. This, however, doesn't stop some people who want to experiment with Windows 11 already. A tinker Gustave Monce has managed to start this OS on the Lumia 950 XL, and according to Gustave, it works just fine. "It's just Windows 11 on a smaller screen and everything works just like Windows 10," comments the tinker.
In the video, you will notice how the Lumia 950 XL's Snapdragon 810 is struggling to keep up, and there is a delay when double-tapping the screen, launching the file explorer, hitting the start menu, and doing other tasks. The video also showcases how the screen rotation happens to be very buggy at the moment. However, the UI looks great on this 6-years old smartphone.
