Work-in-Progress Animations Made for a 2D Fighting Game

The creators of Rising Spirit continue showcasing the development process behind the game.

The development team behind Rising Spirit, an upcoming physics-based 2D fighting game powered by the cross-platform game engine GameMaker, has shared a new demo that showcases the development process behind the game. This time, the team showed some incredibly fluid combat and movement animations with the rough color pass made for Valentina, one of Rising Spirit's playable characters.

According to the developers, the character shown in the demo is still WIP and will be further refined down the line. Right now, the team is working on Valentina's attacks, planning to show more of her combat capabilities in the near future.
