You Won't Be Able to Tell That This 3D Model Is Actually 3D And Not a Drawing

The line between 2D and 3D completely obliterated by Character Artist YannesLii.

Having covered dozens of artworks that appear 2D but are actually 3D and vice versa, it's safe to say the line between the two is practically non-existent at this point, a fact further demonstrated by Character Artist YannesLii with her latest piece.

Inspired by one of Little Thunder's illustrations, YannesLii's new project, titled simply Stylized Girl, is nearly impossible to distinguish from a drawing, with its outlines, shading, and paper-like background perfectly selling the illusion of two-dimensionality. Despite appearances, the artwork is actually 3D, as revealed by a few behind-the-scenes shots shared by the artist, and was created using a combination of ZBrush, Blender, and After Effects.
