In this tutorial Jayaram shows and explains some new features of ZBrush 4R8: The Gizmo, Live Boolean and Deform tools.

In the first part, he adds a simple Polysphere and activates the Gizmo 3D by selecting the move tool. He moves and scales the sphere with the Gizmo but also shows some hidden features like clipping the object when scaling or unlocking the Gizmo when holding the Alt key pressed.

After that, he demonstrates the Live Boolean by adding some subtools like a cylinder and a gear. Then he is subtracting these tools with Live Boolean activated to point out the non-destructive way for the new boolean operations.

In the third part, Jayaram uses the new deform tools that can be found in the menu of the Gizmo, first he uses the Deformer tool and explains how to deform the object by either moving the deform point directly or by selecting a bunch of points and moving them with the Gizmo 3D.

In the last part, he uses the Gizmo again for the IMM Bodyparts brushes to avoid holes after adding the parts to a human head. Then he explains how to use the IMM Boolean brushes for Live Boolean operations by convetring them to new subtools.
