Introducing GoZ support for Cinema4D, new ZSpheres templates, and Pro Projects with a new festive IMM brush.
Maxon
Last month, Maxon rolled out the first major update for ZBrush on iPad, introducing a variety of new features for customizing surfacing and making it easier to personalize and streamline your workflow. As the app aims to offer nearly all the functionality of the desktop version with regular updates bridging the gap, this release further enhances the overall mobile experience.
ZBrush for iPad 2025.2 introduces GoZ support for Cinema4D, a dynamic bridge that lets you send your data back and forth between the software. This release also adds ZSpheres templates for Female, Male, and Hand mannequins, allowing you to easily manipulate and transform them into detailed characters or creatures.
As always, ZBrush for iPad 2025.2 includes various fixes and quality-of-life improvements. Notable highlights include resolving an issue where hardware keyboard modifier keys could become unresponsive, and adding support for Apple Pencil models with double-tap or squeeze functionality, enabling Quick Menu support.
Additionally, ZBrush for iPad users received access to Pro Projects, a new collaboration between Maxon and artists across various industries. These projects feature the final models from each artist, which you can open in your own copy of ZBrush to explore how a professional works in the app, and you'll also receive custom brushes, materials, alphas, textures, and much more. The first Pro Project is holiday-themed, featuring a delicious IMM Winter Cookies brush by Patrick4D:
