ZBrush, Redshift & Cinema 4D Get Updated to Version 2026

A slew of updates spanning all of Maxon's flagship 3D applications.

Maxon's Fall 2025 release is here, introducing a slew of new features and improvements across its entire catalog of 3D applications, with three of the most prominent – ZBrush, Cinema 4D, and Redshift – all getting updated to version 2026.

The first on the list, ZBrush, introduces multiple updates and interaction refinements to the ZModeler toolset, including new creasing options for Insert Edge Loop, Insert Multiple Edge Loop, and Inset Polygon Face. The Noisemaker 2.0 noise generation system adds the ability to rotate, scale, and offset the Alpha image. The highlight of this release is the addition of Python scripting support, working alongside ZScript.

Next up is Cinema 4D, which now features improved collisions with Rigid Body objects for liquid simulations, new tools for interactive object duplication in the Viewport, and numerous bug fixes across the software's modeling, MoGraph, simulation, and other toolsets.

Last but not least, Redshift has been expanded with support for distance unit handling, a new Physical Sun & Sky object with improved contribution controls, the ability to render procedural clouds using the new Redshift Cloud Object, and the Distorter shader – previously only available in C4D – now accessible in all supported DCCs.
