ZBrush to Join Maxon Ecosystem

Huge news from Pixologic.

Pixologic announced the next milestone in the ZBrush story – pending regulatory approval later this month, the team will be joining Maxon and their software ecosystem.

"The ZBrush team led by Ofer Alon (Pixolator) will continue to bring you the most cutting-edge innovations in digital sculpting. This commitment to excellence has been our philosophy since the inception of ZBrush twenty-four years ago. With the addition of the talented Maxon team and our combined know-how, the future for existing and new ZBrush users looks brighter than ever," wrote the team.

    I wonder how long the ZBrush tradition of not charging for version upgrades will last. I say more than one year, less than 3.

    I see a lot of complaints below but tbh I think this is great. As a subscriber to Maxon already, zbrush is something I always wanted to learn and how I’ll have the chance to really try it.
