Zen UV 5.3.1 For Blender Released
Get the latest version of the professional UV creation toolset, now compatible with Blender 5.1.
This update of Sergey Tyapkin's professional UV creation toolkit for Blender focuses on hotfixes and adds support for Blender 5.1, building upon version 5.3, which was more feature-oriented.
In Zen UV 5.3, a new Prepare Unwrap operator has been introduced to streamline the process of preparing an object for UV unwrapping. Previously, setting up an object for unwrapping required manually checking numerous settings. Now, it only takes a few clicks: in the settings, you can define the unwrap type for the model, clear seams or sharp edges, and select which elements should remain.
The Auto Unwrap operator can now automatically create a UV map if one doesn't already exist.
Another new Relax Along Axis operator has been added, allowing you to relax selected vertices along a specified axis. This one also replaces the functionality previously provided by Unfold Vertices. The Relax operator now has the ability to automatically create a UV map if the object doesn't already have one.
In Advanced Transforms, you can find a set of Tweak operators for fast Moving, Rotating, and Scaling of UV islands. Zen UV 5.3 also adds support for UV Packmaster 4, along with numerous quality-of-life improvements.
