Zen UV for Blender Receives an Update

Sergey Tyapkin presented a new version of his UV tool for Blender.

Zen UV, a set of tools for UVs in Blender, has recently been updated. The tool is powered by an intuitive system created by professionals that allows saving time on creating UVs.

Among other features, there's Smart Zen Unwrap Operator to mark selected edges/faces as Seams and/or Sharp edges and Unwrap by Marked edges after. There's also a Powerful Marking System to mark Seams and/or Sharp automatically by angle, by existing UV Borders/Sharp Edges, and manually.

Update:

  • Hard Ops add-on integration. It allows displaying UV manipulations in 3D View.
  • Seam Groups. Work with more than one Seam set!
  • Advanced UV Maps. Duplicate, remove, clean, and rename UV Maps of the multiple meshes in sync.
  • Texel Density. Get, Set, and Check Texel Density of UV Islands.
  • Transform Tools. Move, Rotate, Scale, Flip, Fit, Orient and Align islands!
