Zynga Has Acquired Mobile Growth Platform Storemaven
The acquisition will allow Zynga to expand its existing operations in Israel as well as combine Storemaven's mobile technologies with Zynga's game portfolio and Chartboost's advertising platform.
Zynga, which was recently acquired by gaming giant Take-Two, announced it has completed the acquisition of Storemaven, an Israeli-based mobile growth and app store optimization company. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The company stated that this new acquisition will help it expand its existing operations in Israel as well as combine Storemaven's mobile technologies with Zynga's game portfolio and Chartboost's advertising platform.
Storemaven was founded in 2015 by Gad Maor who is also the company's CEO, Adam Rakib, President of Storemaven, and Eldad Abel, the company's CPO. Since the inception, Storemaven has worked on creating innovative mobile growth and App Store Optimization technologies, making efforts to change the way mobile companies and game developers optimize their creative advertising, conduct growth experiments, and measure performance.
Zynga noted that the acquisition of Storemaven will allow it to enhance "its usage and investment in state-of-the-art growth technologies, augment its leadership position in reaching mass audiences, and further its mission to connect the world through games."
