At the core of the platform sits Sparc3D, Hi3D's own high-resolution generation model, paired with a texturing engine that can strip out baked-in lighting and shadows from a source image so the resulting textures stay clean and usable in a real render or game engine, rather than looking locked into one lighting setup.
What it does
Image to 3D: generates high-precision meshes directly from a single image, keeping sharp edges, accurate proportions, and print-ready geometry intact
AI texturing: applies 4K, PBR-ready materials to generated or uploaded models with one click
Portrait and character modeling: reconstructs facial structure, hair, and skin detail for human-like figures, up to 1536³ resolution
3D relief generation: converts flat images into layered relief models with smooth depth transitions, useful for coins, plaques, and similar physical pieces
Auto character split: automatically breaks a character model into printable parts with connectors built in, ready to assemble as a physical figure
Models export in FBX, GLB, OBJ, STL, and USDZ, so assets move straight into Blender, Unity, Maya, game engines, or a 3D printer without extra conversion steps. Hi3D also integrates through an API and native plugins, so the generation step can sit directly inside an existing production pipeline rather than as a separate tool.
Hi3D is used across game development, VFX and animation, product and industrial design, architecture, and physical 3D printing. It's built for two overlapping groups: professional artists who want a fast way to block out a base mesh or generate reference assets they'll refine further in their usual tools, and makers and hobbyists who want production-quality 3D output without a traditional modeling background.
