Leading game art studio specializing in 3D and 2D game art outsourcing. High-quality game art design services for game development.

VSQUAD is a game art outsourcing studio and development partner working with indie, AA, and AAA teams across the full production pipeline. The studio provides 3D art, 2D art and concept art, animation and VFX, full-cycle game development, and video/creative production for mobile marketing.

On the 3D side, VSQUAD covers the complete character and asset pipeline, from blockout, sculpting, and retopology through UV unwrapping, baking, texturing, and engine testing. The team works in ZBrush, Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, Substance 3D Painter, and Marmoset Toolbag, producing hero characters, creatures, NPCs, environment sets, props, weapons, and vehicles optimized for Unity and Unreal Engine.

The 2D and concept art side covers character and environment concepts, layered backgrounds, modular tile sets for level construction, interactive objects, and UI/HUD assets, spanning fantasy, sci-fi, and stylized art directions. The animation and VFX team builds locomotion, combat, and cinematic sequences by combining motion capture reference with hand-crafted animation, with rigs and animations exported for Unity and Unreal Engine.

ANIMATION & VFX

The team provides 3D and 2D animation, character rigging, and real-time VFX for games. The 3D animation team works with keyframe and motion capture across locomotion, combat, and cinematic sequences, exporting rigs and animations for Unity and Unreal Engine. The 2D animation team works in Spine, Live2D, and frame-by-frame formats, and the VFX team builds gameplay effects, combat impacts, and environmental effects using Niagara and Shuriken/VFX Graph. The studio has provided animation and VFX support since 2015, including work on Wayfinder and SMITE.

FULL-CYCLE GAME DEVELOPMENT

VSQUAD offers full-cycle game development support in Unity, Unreal Engine, and Godot, covering prototyping, gameplay systems, technical implementation, optimization, and QA. The team works across mobile, PC, and console projects, handling engine-specific tasks such as rendering pipeline setup, asset streaming, and cinematics in Unreal's Sequencer. VSQUAD's development work has included contributions to Wayfinder and other large-scale Unreal Engine productions, alongside support for smaller indie titles.

VSQUAD operates under two engagement models: Outstaffing, where individual artists or small production units join a client's existing pipeline under that team's direction, and Managed Outsourcing, where VSQUAD takes on a defined production scope with its own internal review layer.

MOBILE GAME ADS

VSQUAD produces mobile game ad creatives, including gameplay-style videos, playable ads, cinematic trailers, and UGC-style content built for platforms such as Meta, TikTok, AppLovin, and Google UAC. The team works directly in Unity and Unreal Engine to capture clean gameplay footage, then builds out motion design, hooks, and platform-specific edits for iOS and Android. VSQUAD also produces full App Store and Google Play asset kits, including localized icons and screenshots, for studios running user acquisition campaigns.

The studio is led by Creative Director Volodymyr Liubchuk, whose credits include Wayfinder, Ruined King: A League of Legends Story, Darksiders Genesis, Battle Chasers: Nightwar, SMITE, and Allods Online. Lead Production Manager Hanna Nor oversees full-cycle production across art, animation, and development support, and Game Development Lead Gleb Sokolov brings over 20 years of experience across titles including Heroes of Might & Magic V and Allods Online.

VSQUAD has contributed art production to studios including Airship Syndicate, Riot Forge, Hi-Rez Studios, Little Orbit, Primal Game Studio, and Portal One, with credits spanning Ruined King (100+ assets, including characters, creatures, weapons, and props) and Wayfinder (200+ characters and production assets for a large-scale Unreal Engine title).
