Workbench Entertainment is an independent game development studio based in Skopje, North Macedonia, founded in 2014 by a group of passionate gamers who wanted to turn their love of games into meaningful, well-crafted interactive experiences.
Over the years, the studio has grown from a small team of enthusiasts into an experienced independent developer working across game design, programming, 3D art, and video production. Workbench Entertainment is driven by a strong indie spirit and a focus on creating games that combine distinctive worlds, atmosphere, storytelling, and engaging gameplay.
The studio made its debut with Wounded - The Beginning, a first-person survival horror game centered around a father searching for his missing daughter in an abandoned environment filled with mystery and danger. The project helped establish Workbench's reputation for atmospheric horror and storytelling, earning recognition including a nomination at the Central and Eastern European Game Awards.
Today, Workbench Entertainment continues to explore different genres and styles. Its current portfolio includes Olga - Episode 1, an episodic first-person narrative exploration game inspired by Balkan folklore and focused on atmosphere, place, and personal storytelling, as well as Wolfsbane, a stylized multiplayer survival experience built around teamwork, communication, and social gameplay.
With a growing portfolio and a commitment to independent development, Workbench Entertainment aims to create games that feel personal, atmospheric, and memorable while continuing to push the capabilities of its small but dedicated team.
