2D Fluid Simulation Made with Blender's Geometry Nodes

A beautiful work by Jesse Miettinen.

Talented 3D Artist Jesse Miettinen, a.k.a. Blenderesse, amazed us once again with his new 2D fluid simulation created using Blender's Geometry Nodes. He mixed his earlier project with a cool work by Seanterelle.

As a result, we have a cute little pond with pretty realistic water movement. The artist admits it still needs "some work with collision and movement transfer according the collision normals" but it already looks great.

This is not the first time Miettinen graced our pages with his awesome projects. He has also showcased his melting meshes, cottage generator, windshield wipers texture sequence, city generator, robot animation, and wind-blown tree.

Follow Miettinen on Twitter and join our 80 Level Talent platform and our Telegram channel, follow us on ThreadsInstagramTwitter, and LinkedIn, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
