3D Environment Artist Shares a Hand-Painted Style Plant Rendered in Blender
It reminds me of oil paintings.
The 3D Environment Artist, Silvia Raponi, or Silemar_ on Twitter/X, shared a comparison of the viewport view and the final render of a project she did.
The artwork appears to be like a cactus inside a vase, and a lemon next to it. The final render has a hand-painted style, while the viewport video shows how the plant is in 3D.
Silemar_ is an artist who loves creating projects with hand-painted textures. Here's another 3D plant she did, this time with Geometry Nodes. This one appears like it's something you could see in a cozy video game. It kind of reminds me of GRIS.
At the end of 2024, she also recreated the kitchen from the Studio Ghibli movie, Whisper of the Heart. I think this one is my favorite, as a Studio Ghibli fan, I can definitely see that style in the scene.
