A Behind-the-Scenes Look at The Exit 8 Movie
Check out a short clip shared by Neon.
Take a behind-the-scenes look at the making of The Exit 8, a cinematic adaptation of KOTAKE CREATE's popular walking simulator of the same name, unveiled by Neon. The film is now live in theaters.
The game created a distinct, eerie atmosphere inspired by backrooms and liminal spaces. The story takes place in an endless underground passageway, where a player needs to find the only escape – exit 8.
The simulator features impressive lifelike visuals, brought to the screens with the power of Unreal Engine 5. The Exit 8 was well-received by fans, and a year later, the idea was continued in a sequel titled Platform 8, this time bringing the players to an endlessly running train.
