A week ago, Game Developer known for the Viking-themed roguelike Bad North and a procedural city-building simulator Townscaper Oskar Stålberg presented an amazing lighting solution created in Unity. According to the Twitter post shared by Oskar, the setup was created using Unity's Signed Distance Field, 3D textures, a UV mapping algorithm, Depth Map Shadows, lighting math, and vector math.
