3D Character Artist and Generalist, known as Carlsu, released a new add-on for Blender that will help you to easily set up hairstyles for your 3D characters. Powered by Blender's Geometry Nodes, the generator allows you to turn Curves into realistic-looking braid meshes that can then be unwrapped, rigged, and textured to create any braid you desire.
According to the creator, the generator works with Blender 3.1 and higher. What's more, the braids created with the add-on can be used for commercial projects and games at no extra charge.
