A New Tree Plug-in for Maya

polygoniq has announced the release of botaniq Maya, a tool for 3D designers and architecture visualizers, which includes 130 ready-to-use trees for Maya, Arnold.

polygoniq, a visualization, VR, 3D, and software development studio, that stands behind materialiq, material library, botaniq, tree library for Blender, traffiq, vehicle library, and aquatic, water library, has unveiled their latest tool, botaniq for Maya, which offers a simple and quick way to populate the scenes with various types of optimized quality vegetation. Initially, this vegetation library was created for Blender. Now the team has converted all the assets for Maya users and announced the release, noting that the library will include regular free updates and continue growing. 

The tool allows adding an animation preset to any deciduous or coniferous trees, adjusting the strength, changing the preset, turning on/off modifiers, making the animation loop within 120 frames, populating the selected object asset, setting density per square meter, recalculating it if needed, and more.
