A Wave of Layoffs Hits the Developer of The Witcher Spin-Off

In case you missed it, last week, CD Projekt issued a statement, announcing that they have revisited Project Sirius, an upcoming spin-off to The Witcher series being developed by The Molasses Flood and revealing that they will resume development within a "reformulated framework."

However, just a day later, some employees from The Molasses Flood took to Twitter to share that the project restructuring had seemingly involved reducing the workforce of the already small studio, announcing that they have been laid off from the company. Currently, neither The Molasses Flood nor CD Projekt has provided any comments regarding the situation, leaving the exact number of employees affected and the reasons for their dismissal unknown.
