Alberto Mielgo has revealed the first trailer for his next animation film called The Windshield Wiper, and you have to see it.
The film from the designer and director of the Love, Death & Robots’s episode The Witness is described as a very personal and particular vision on love and relationships. It is said to be finished, but we’ll have to wait. It was written, directed and designed by Alberto Mielgo, produced by Leo Sanchez Studio and Pinkman.tv. It’s all about keyframe animation, so we’ll a pure hand-made project.
For those of you unfamiliar with the designs of the master, Mielgo was born and raised in Spain. He lived and work in London, Paris, Berlin, Tokyo and now he’s working in Los Angeles. He worked with Gorillaz, generated designs for Harry Potter, crafted visions for Tron Uprising, Love Death and Robots, and more.
The designer received EMMY and ANNIE back in 2013 for his work on Disney’s Tron Uprising as the best Production Designer. He was also The Production Designer for Into the Spider-Verse for some time (you can learn about the story behind Spider-Man here).
