An Awesome Rickshaw Model Inspired by a Cap

Tsombul Samuel Tavershima created the vehicle after watching a Nigerian TV series.

Inspiration comes in many unexpected ways, and 3D Artist Tsombul Samuel Tavershima proved it with the rickshaw model he created using Blender and Substance 3D Painter after watching an episode of a Nigerian TV series called My Flatmates.

"I initially didn't plan this, one afternoon during my lunch break, I was watching this hilarious episode and I paused the video to answer a call, while on the call, my eyes were on this cap. In my head, I began to fuse different images together, and this is what I came up with."

The vehicle does strongly resemble the cap the artist saw, with Ankara fabric adding a bit of Nigerian spice to it.

People in the comments under the LinkedIn post were so taken by the unusual concept that they immediately started firing off their ideas on how to improve the design to make it more practical and realistic in terms of aerodynamics and water retention. We might see an upgraded version of the vehicle soon.
