An Indie Adventure Game Where Blender Is Used To Create 3D Models, Characters, Props, Animation & Even Level Design
Zefyr: A Thief's Melody has a special limited-time offer right now.
Oneiric Worlds, aka Mathias, is a solo developer from France who has been working on their own dream game for the past 12 years, since they were a child. Now, the hard work has been presented to the gamers with the release of Zefyr: A Thief's Melody.
According to the developer, this 3D adventure game has relied heavily on Blender, which is used to create 3D models, characters, props, animation, and even level design.
In this game that pays tribute to classic adventure games like Beyond Good & Evil and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, you step into the shoes of a young thief, living on a colorful archipelago and studying at the Guild.
You'll get busy with various tasks, like investigating kidnappings, steering clear of roaming pirates, or fighting them. Sail the ocean on a cute turtle and climb every island.
As shown in the trailer above, you'll be able to master various skills during this feel-good journey, such as climbing everywhere with the powerful magnetic claws, stealth, fighting, using a bow, throwing bombs, grappling, and much more. Besides pirates, you'll also encounter different kinds of enemies, including guards, robots, and other thieves. It's up to you to confront them directly or to play sneakily.
Of course, enemies are not the only things you'll greet; various cute and funny characters are also awaiting. If you come across sick animals during your exploration, you can cure them by throwing fruit at them — it sounds like an adventurous and healing journey altogether.
