An Update on Bodycam, a Hyperrealistic UE5-Powered Shooter Game

Reissad Studio shared a new trailer for its upcoming FPS.

Reissad Studio, a French indie game development studio comprised of just two developers, has recently shared a new teaser trailer for Bodycam, the team's upcoming first-person shooter game with hyperrealistic graphics, providing an update on the game's current status.

First unveiled in 2023, Bodycam is being made leveraging the robust capabilities of Epic Games' Unreal Engine 5. Designed to push the limits of realism and photorealism, the game offers a high-octane deathmatch-type gameplay, with two teams competing to be the last team alive. The developers promise to deliver a variety of weapons, tactically optimized maps, ragdoll physics, and, of course, a bodycam-like fisheye camera.

With their new trailer, the devs offered a look at the game's close and tactical fights, sharing a look at Bodycam's gameplay mechanics, maps, shooting animations, and more. You can check out the full trailer attached above or by visiting Reissad Studio's LinkedIn page.

If you would like to learn more about Bodycam, we also recommend checking out our interview with Reissad Studio, in which they told us about the story and development of Bodycam, spoke about the game's camera and lighting, discussed its shooting mechanics, and more.
