Every now and then, while browsing ArtStation or Instagram, you come across an artwork that makes you think, "Dang, Artists really are weird sometimes." One such creation has recently been unveiled to the world by Visual Artist Tomasz Woźniakowski, who unveiled a stunning and at the same time incredibly bizarre 3D animation that reminded me about that one Sam O'Nella episode about literal animal planets.
Check out Pigeon Ball, a smooth sequence depicting something straight out of SCP's bestiary: a rolling ball of pigeon heads, eagerly pecking at seeds with its dozens of beaks. According to Tomasz, this mesmerizing monstrosity was modeled and animated using Blender, a free jack-of-all-trades 3D software. "I used hair particle system for the heads, and I couldn't get them to work with dynamic paint, so I just used a sphere as a brush," commented Tomasz on how this biblically accurate birb was made.
Over on his Instagram page, Tomasz regularly shares unusual and extremely cool Blender-made 3D animations, so we highly encourage you to follow the artist there so as not to miss any new peculiar masterpieces.
