Real-Time VFX and Technical 3D Artist Viktor Zadorozhnyi shared a breakdown of his real-time effects from his personal project titled Frost Abilities.

The artist explained how he created the appealing VFX that can be used in fighting scenes, focusing on the final in-engine result, motion, and timing. According to the creator, some elements were prepared in Houdini and assembled in Unreal Engine.
